Early Childhood Development
About
Throughout my childhood, I grew up in Mexico surrounded by my immediate and extended family. I got to enjoy all that comes with our culture, including strong family unity, a sense of community, delicious meals cooked at home, and lots of play with cousins and neighbors. My childhood experience was beautiful, thanks to the values I grew up surrounded by and the continuous support my family provided me during my formative years. Such experience shapes who I am as an individual and educator.
In my personal time, I enjoy caring for plants, learning about preventative health practices, and exercising. I also appreciate orderly and systematic hobbies such as puzzles, kefir making, and certain cleaning tasks. I believe a great deal of happiness comes from nature and the order that underlies it, in work that asks patience and effort from us. The steady satisfaction that comes from being productive brings me great joy, as well as my family and our strong unity.
Career journey
Soon after I began my college career, I was captivated by child development and the humanities. Since then, I’ve developed a passion for both, especially in creating a thoughtful conjunction of the two. At Irvine Valley College, I completed an associate degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I then transferred to California State University, Fullerton, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Studies with a concentration in early childhood development.
During my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a lead preschool teacher for a few years at the same play-based center where I first started my childcare journey as an assistant in 2021. During the summer of 2024, I relocated to the Napa Valley and soon began an internship at Saint Helena Montessori that evolved into my full-time employment. I was able to witness and participate in the beautiful way learning happens under the Montessori pedagogy. My time at this wonderful Montessori institution has greatly influenced my career and continues to shape my own development as an educator. In addition to these experiences, I have enjoyed working closely with families both in Orange County and Napa Valley.

B.S.- Nutrition
MS - Health Science of Nutrition
I am the mother of Victoria and Valentina, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a Master's in Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition. I am deeply convinced that the healthy development of a human being is dependent on the emotional and physical care provided during the first five or six years of life. This stage is what shapes the years to come.
I was fortunate to grow up with a providing father and a full-time mother. Thanks to my mother, there was always homemade food, desserts, and natural fruit drinks prepared by her. When I became a mother and began raising my daughters, my greatest concern was for them to be well-nourished. This is how my professional interest in Nutrition began. I wanted to offer my girls a diet with the greatest benefits possible, and encourage healthy habits from an early age, so I chose to pursue this knowledge through a career in nutrition.
This path led me to private practice in nutritional counseling and to work as a university-level instructor. In addition, I have experience in childcare both privately and within different institutions. As for my interests and hobbies, I love music, exercising, practicing yoga, keeping things organized, and occasionally baking cakes. What I enjoy most of all is spending time with my family.
As times change, we must adapt without neglecting what we love most. My daughter Victoria felt a calling and a deep passion to create Seed to Bloom Early Learning. I am enthusiastic about helping her develop the program she has dreamed of pursuing. Together, we are excited to support parents with the care and education of their children in an environment filled with warmth, love, and professionalism, where not only is learning academics important, but also healthy habits and well-being.
